# Build brief — an original testimonials section in the taste of Zed

## Goal
Build an original testimonials section for **[the user's brand]**. Its job: let real customers make the case in their own words.
## Originality rules
- Never reuse Zed's logo, name, product imagery, illustrations, icons, screenshots or copy. Write new copy for the user's product.
- If the user hasn't said what their product is, ask first (or use clearly marked placeholders like [Brand], [Product], [Audience]).
## Layout
- Pattern: quote cards or a featured quote with name, role and avatar. Half to one screen (728px at 1440), page background; 23 image elements (icons, logos, product UI — not 23 photos); no interactive controls.
- Content slots: Section title; 3 quotes: 1–3 sentences, name, role, company, avatar; Use real customer quotes only.
- Reference headline (tone/length only — never reuse): “Trusted by world-class developers & industry leading teams”
- Responsive: stack columns below 768px keeping the order heading → body → action → visual; test at 390 / 768 / 1440px.
## Design tokens
- Colour: section background `#000010`, text `#ffffff` (20.8:1), accent `#241f51` (1.4:1), surface `#010000`, muted `#58585a`. Keep the mood; swap the accent for the user's brand colour.
- Type: headings **Source Serif 4** (stand-in for Plex Serif), body **Inter** (stand-in for Writer).
- Shape: Radii and shadows weren't measured. Read exact corner radius, border and shadow treatment from the screenshots.
