Kite made of wood-veneer swatches, its string drawn as tree rings leading to a spool

The pale cool-grey background has plenty of negative space and a fine outline frame. The kite is split into four quadrants of different wood and laminate textures, and its thin copper-coloured string loops into a line drawing of tree growth rings. A photoreal orange spool of thread sits on top of the giant brown lettering, adding a small bit of depth. The warm brown and orange palette ties the festival to the look of wood.

Layout

A thin-bordered pale grey canvas with the logo centred at the top and a kite at upper left. The kite string curves into a large tree-ring illustration in the centre and ends at a spool resting on huge brown bold text, with a script overlap and a two-line message centred at the bottom.

Typography

Serif caps for the logo; a heavy geometric sans in chocolate brown for the display word, overlapped by a flowing black script; a small, widely tracked sans for the body.
