Story: Terracotta relief of a woman's profile wearing a real ruby-diamond necklace and earring

A monochrome burnt-orange, suede-like surface is sculpted into a low-relief woman's head and shoulders with a bun and closed eyes. Soft directional light from the upper left models the relief with gentle shadows. Real pear-cut ruby jewellery set in diamonds (a drop earring and a diamond riviera necklace with a large pendant) provides the only saturated colour and sparkle, which makes it the clear focal point. The finish is tactile, earthy and gallery-like.
